The Wilson PTSA is excited to welcome new members to the Executive Board for the 2025-26 academic year. Joining the PTSA is a fantastic opportunity to actively contribute to the success of our school and play a vital role in ensuring our children receive an exceptional education.

As a member of the Executive Board, you'll become an integral part of a dedicated team, each member contributing to the collective goal of supporting our school. While each role has specific responsibilities, we all share a common commitment to the following expectations:

  • Collaboratively create the proposed annual PTSA budget
  • Thoughtfully weigh and vote on all major decisions related to PTSA policy and programs
  • Actively seek ways to continually meet school and membership responsibilities and needs
  • Attend the monthly Executive & Committee Board meetings

As the PTSA president, you will work collectively with Wilson administration to prepare a calendar of events for the year, plan monthly meeting agendas, serve as a primary contact, and ensure all committees and board members have access to the resources they need to be successful.

Time expectations: One meeting per month (approx. 1 hour) and an additional 1-2 hours of time per month. The calendar of events is prepared over the summer months, so some time will be spent when school is out of session for students.


Responsibilities include managing the PTSA budget, ensuring timely payments and reimbursements, and preparing any required tax documents required as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Financial/tax experience is a plus!

Time expectations: One meeting per month (approx. 1 hour) and an additional 1-2 hours of time per month. The fiscal year ends in June, so there may be additional time spent preparing end-of-year tax documents.


This position helps plan spirit nights at local restaurants and businesses, orders conference night dinners for the teachers (2x per year) and spearheads Staff Appreciation Week activities. The VP of Hospitality is encouraged to work with additional volunteers/committee members as needed to help expedite programs.

Time expectations: One meeting per month (approx. 1 hour) and an additional 1-2 hours of time per month, with some months requiring more time (staff dinners and staff appreciation events) and some requiring less.


This position is responsible for managing the school's spirit gear sales. This includes ordering, maintaining inventory, and distributing items as well as occasionally setting up "pop-up" shops. The VP of Bulldog Based is encouraged to work with additional volunteers/committee members as needed to help expedite programs.

Time expectations: One meeting per month (approx. 1 hour) and an additional 1-2 hours of time per month, with some planning during the summer months.
